R12.2 installation in upgrade mode (with new ORACLE_HOME)

Hi,

I am doing an upgrade of Oracle EBS environment from R12.0.6 version to R12.2.4 version. I would like to know how to create the upgrade file system in multi node environment and have database on one server node and application on another server node. As upgrade file system creation doesn't provide any option to do so. Also how can I use the new installed ORACLE_HOME and how the post installation steps for database level patches will be executed on my existing database when I attach it to newly installed Oracle_HOME.
