Not seeing any data in Saved Pre-Approved Batch

In R12, on Day-1 submitted a Pre-Approved Expenditure Batch and saved data w/out submit/release being completed.  On Day-2 proceeded to submit/release batch query caused no data to be found.

Note:  Data could be seen in the Expenditure Inquiry Actuals form.

What may be the issue?
