Is it possible on inventory adjustments to restrict certain reason codes by merchandise hierarchy?

Is it possible to restrict Inv. Adj reason codes for certain items?

I.e. The client wants to adjust an item  only with 'damaged' and 'shrinkage' so only this two reason codes would be available when this item is selected. I know i can restrict inv. adj.  codes by employee's role but I'm not aware of any settings that would restrict this from merch hierarchy point.

Is there anyway this could be done without extensive customization?
