Fixed Assets book value incorrect

We are currently using depreciation methodtype: flat and calculation basis NBV with depreciation basis rule: beginning period and the book value and accumulated depreciation as calculated by application is incorrect since we maintain the asset register on excel as well and it is not matching with the excel values.. please help me out what should I do in this regard and how to adjust the accumulated depreciation to correct the current NBV.
