Attachments in Siebel

I have read that Siebel Open UI does not support editing attachments and saving them back to the file system, without downloading them to a local PC first.

However the Siebel Open UI IP2014 Deployment Guide (Doc Id 1499842.1) dated February 22, 2015 states that a new feature in IP2014 is "Attachments" - "Ability to save directly to File System".

We have installed IP2014 patchset 3 and cannot get it to work there.

Has anyone seen this work?

If so, please provide any configuration steps.
