Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC)

question re: 1524398 EBS 12.1 and 12c upgrade

Following Interoperability Notes EBS 12.0 or 12.1 with RDBMS 12cR1 (Doc ID 1524398.1) but I have a couple of questions.

I have a 12.1.3 environment running on RedHat Linux.

Section 1, Before the database Installation

So I have to install the 12.1 application patches if they are not already installed (which they aren't)?

And how do I tell if I have applied an RPC patch or not?

8. Apply additional 12.1.0.2 RDBMS patches

So there are a few patches to apply and it seems like a good time to apply a PSU as well but I'm not following Doc ID 1147107.1.

It takes me to "Table 5 Release 12.1.0.1 PSUs and Patch lists for EBS r11i or r12.1" and I see three options and "Required Minimum Version of PSU".
