Performance Article of the Month...

This month we are promoting following article which assist in diagnosing resolution of application performance issues after upgrade of Oracle database:

The note assist which diagnostics to gather to start the investigations.  There are three components: application, database, and the hardware.

Depending on which component is slow, we can start from that point. 


Remember it is better to test performance before upgrading.  Again proactive action is better than reactive.  And the best tool to test performance before

the actual upgrade is the RAT tool (Real Application Test):
