Cost Flow- FIFO and its impact on Inventory Item issue

Hi,

I am trying to understand the impact of cost Flow FIFO on my item depletions.

I have below setup for my Item cost profile:

Receipt Cost Method: Actual

Cost Flow: FIFO

Deplete Cost Method: Perpertual Wtd Avg

Now currently the Perpertual Wtd Avg cost of my item is $290.00 for 6 qty (Putaway was done at this price only for all 6 qty)

Now I again do a putaway for 10 qty at $100 unit price

Now Total Item qty : 16 (6+10)

Perpetual wtd avg cost: ((290*6)+*10*100))/(6+10)= $171.25

Now if I deplete the item for say 7 qty, as per my understanding, since the Cost flow method is FIFO, the system should deplete 6 qty at $290 price and 1 qty at $171.25 price

Howdy, Stranger!
