API to Update Group and Owner from Territory Setup depending on the change in Status

We are trying to update the Group and owner depending on the status change from the API. When the status change is Open then our custom program will make it as "Dispatch" and corresponding group and owner should be updated as per status change from territory setup.

We are successfull in updating the status from API but for the group and owner change we cannot figuured it how can it be done.

Can you please let us know the API to update the group and owner.
