LCM: Why Shipments Interface Import Inserts Completed Shipments Even Though Currency Rate is not Def

Hello Community,

I had come across the following problem regarding Shipments Interface Import when LC charges are generated in non-functional currency. Following are the details:

Facts:

Release = 12.2.4

Modifier Currency: ILS

Functional Currency: USD

LCM is configured as Service

Steps to Reproduce:

=======

1- Create PO in Functional Currency (current system date has no defined daily rate)

2- Receive

3- Run Landed cost Integration Manager

4- Run Shipments Interface Import

5- Shipments Interface Import completed with warning

6- Review Shipments Interface Import log file; you will find the following:

    INL_ERR_CURR_RATE_NOT_FOUND (FROM_CURRENCY_CODE=ILS) (TO_CURRENCY_CODE=USD) (CURRENCY_CONVERSION_TYPE=1001) (CURRENCY_CONVERSTION_DATE=01-MAR-15)
