Receiving Options - Interface To Advanced Pricing Option: What For?

Hello Community,

While setting up Receiving Options for LCM enabled inventory organizations, we always make sure that Cost Factor Interface to Advanced Pricing option is enabled without actually knowing the true purpose of enabling this option.

I reviewed the Oracle Support Doc ID 1665574.1 which states this issue as a documentation bug; however, I wounder if anyone of MOSC's members checked internally what this option for.

So, if you have any idea about the functionality of this option, please share it.
