Orachk run issue

I am trying to run orachk via cygwin to a windows 2003 R2 server where my database (10.2.0) resides.  I believe I have cygwin correctly configured and can ssh to the underlying server.

However when I run orachk I get the following message:

RC-001- Unable to read driver files. Please refer to the section for this error code in Appendix A - Troubleshooting scenarios of the Orachk user guide

I did find a previous thread but that was no help sadly as the use was on an unsupported platform!

Any suggestions welcome  (apart from upgrade to 11g/12 )
