Has anyone changed the name of a standard button in related information?

I found some instructions on Page 64-67 of TTOCOD_BOOK.pdf on how to change the name of a standard button.  It says to create a new Web Applet and include it in the Related Information section of the Page Layout.  The example is for an Activity related info button within Contacts.  My requirement is for an Activity related info button within Accounts, so it should work the same. 

The new section shows up in the related information as expected, but it does not change the name of the button.

Does anyone know if this still supported by CRM-OD?

If it is still supported, can any of you see anything wrong with my code?
