how to restart a failed chain job in Oracle XE ?

edited Mar 6, 2015 7:30AM in PL/SQL (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓

I have a chain defined in Oracle XE 11g with a mix of external shell scripts and internal plsql jobs.

If there are no errors in the jobs, everything runs as expected.

If one of the external jobs gets a failure, the chain goes to STALLED and the job step gets a failed status.

The chain still appears in USER_SCHEDULER_RUNNING_CHAINS

JOB_NAME                       JOB_SUBNAME                    CHAIN_OWNER                    CHAIN_NAME                     STEP_NAME                                STATE           ERROR_CODE COMPLETED
