cloud control 12c with f5 load balancer Certificates

I have noticed, while configuring a level 3 EM CC 12c redundancy (i.e. with two EM servers) and the f5 is doing the load balancing (in both oracle and f5 documents) , that there are no certificates installed on the f5.

How does that work from f5 point of view. Is the f5 terminating agent-oms ssl traffic? obviously not if no certificates are installed.

I was wandering if any one can shed some light on this and thanks in advance.
