Why are .aud files being created?

On one of our database servers (IBM AIX on Power System (64-bit)), the database (EE version 11.2.0.3.9 (patch #17540582) is generating .aud files in the adump directory (/u01/app/oracle/admin/webiprd1/adump) over and over.  I have read in multiple places, that the aud files should only be created if the login id is sysdba or sysoper, but the id that is being reported is not either.  I have checked all of the system audit tables and there are no audit settings for the id or for the database.  Below is an example of one of the files created.

   Any help is greatly appreciated.
