Standby database configuration

HI


We are trying to configure  physical standby database on ASM

We have already restored the DB from primary to target without seting up force logging and parameters at primary

is it possible to configure Standby from here or we need to start back meaning put the primary in force logging, setup the standby redo log location, include log_archive_config = ''dg_config=(pridb,sbydb)''

And then restore again
