OLE attachments and activeX

Good Day All,

We've historically used OLE attachments on our release of JDE 8.11. We're in the midst of a 9.1 Upgrade and one of the things that appeals is to turn off the activeX. However, can anyone elaborate on what happens with our existing OLE attachments? Would they be 'lost' in terms of not being visible once we turn off the activeX funcitonality?
