Issued item return with different size

Dear ,

The item which is issues with 1 QTY with size for this item during issue is 12M X 6 M but when they return to stock it will be like this Qty 1, Size 8M x 3M .

I would like to know the best approach that how I can manage the above scenario in inventory .
