unable to clone a running vm guest after upgrade to OVM 3.3.1 ??

edited Mar 5, 2015 9:23AM in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question

We just went thru a fairly painful process to upgrade our lab system from OVM 3.2.8 to 3.3.1  Now we have lost the ability to clone a running vm.

Have tried both RHEL and Windows guests. The source and target disks are on OCFS2 SAN repositories. Only cloning virtual disks, not physical disks. If the guest is powered off, clone works fine.  Here is the error message:

.................................

Message: OVMRU_005062E Cannot perform operation on disk: 0004fb000012000090fea483c08c86d1.img, when it is being used by any running VMs. The disk is still being actively used by these VMs: [tglink-dev2.xxx.xxx]

Howdy, Stranger!
