APP-FND-00756:Cannot find combination CCID=16263933 CODE=MKTS in item supply/demand screen

We are on 12.2.3.

This issue started all of a suddent where when querying for items in the item supply/demand screen we are getting an error APP-FND-00756:Cannot find combination CCID=16263933 CODE=MKTS in item supply/demand screen

If we click OK the results show up but the sales order number is blank .There are notes on metalink with this issue in material transactions screen but they do not apply to us .

Could this be some issue with the sales orders flexfield ?
