Q: How to migrate Solaris cluster nodes from sun4u to sun4v architecture ?

Hello Experts,

IHAC who has a 3-node Solaris cluster running Solaris 10U4 w/ SC 3.3U1 on V890 systems. Cluster nodes should be migrated to T5-4 systems (require min. Solaris 10U11) located in another data center.

I know there are some limitations (i.e. FLAR does not support Solaris cluster nodes, ...). However, Solaris can be upgraded from Solaris 10U4 to 10U11. Migration from sun4u to sun4v will be done automatically during the upgrade process. But Solaris cluster upgrade guide states that Solaris cluster does not support upgrades between architectures.

Can someone pls. confirm that Solaris cluster software installed on sun4u image is not supported and will not run on sun4v platform.
