Hi all

We have a few 2 nodes 11.2.0.4 SE extended RAC clusters.

Yesterday due to network outage we experienced a split brain for all our clusters. All 3 voting disks ( 1 in each datacenter, one in third site) were present and available.

So it was just a split brain, with a node eviction in Data centre 2 for everybody. Except one cluster where the evicted node was in Data Centre 1 .

Doc 1425586.1 gives the eviction order :

a. The group with more cluster nodes survive

b. The group with lower node member in case of same number of node(s) available in each group

c. Some improvement has been made to ensure node(s) with lower load survive in case the eviction is caused by high system load.
