Can we pass Foreign currency values while adding assets through API?

Hello  Team,

I would like to know whether can we pass Foreign currency values while adding assets through API? User needs the same USD values as of 11i on the reporting currency values in R12. If I have functional and reporting currency values with me for an asset from 11i, is there any way to pass those values (cost, original cost) so that the USD (foreign currency) would match from 11i.

As far as my research on this topic, the api automatically converts the values to reporting currency.
