Diffrence between the R4 and R5 firmware releases?

Hello Gurus,

Is there any difference between R5 & R4 other than SAN/NAS support? are they same in feature wise? Is it wise to upgrade from R4 to R5 if there is no NAS hardware is installed in slammer? I find he GUI is totally outdated in R4, wondering how PA box came with R4 on a system without NAS hardware installed in slammer.
