Does anyone has experience with CSI_ITEM_INSTANCE_CUHK? Is it possible to use this user hook to prev

Our business has requested that warranty under certain circumstances should not be created. We are wondering if we can control this through the user hook CSI_ITEM_INSTANCE_CUHK. Does someone of you have similar already? Do you have any suggestion? The trigger we want to use is the Sales Order Line Type.
