CRM Sales Team - how does the "Sales Team" assigned in CRM propogate onto a Sales Order?

Hi all, setting up Sales Team assignments to Customers in CRM which are then used as default on any new Opportunities.  How do the assigned Sales Team "Address Book Numbers" get propagated onto the relevant Sales Orders created for that Customer in the F4211 Tables. Is it via the Commission Constants being setup? Customer is not intending to use Commission processing?
