Not updating status column in forms

Dear All,

   I'm using custom forms for entry.after i complete entry,i will run one concurrent program me,it will do some calculation,finally it will update status of form records.some time it not updating status.

I observe  form is open,i'm updating same record through concurrent programme,it not updating it.

2)  i'm not saved record of forms,i'm updating same record through concurrent programme.it will update or not.Can you help me.
