Item Import updating effective date as sysdate for items being imported

Hello All,

Process we are following,

1) Items are been imported to oracle with effective date in future.

2) We can see the records having correct effective date in mtl_items_revision table until we run the import item program

3) as soon as we run the import item program it creates the item correctly, but is having effective date same as sysdate .

Request your help on this issue.
