Hyperion Planning Shared Services not accepting new users into group

Hi,

We are running Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1. 
We are trying to add a new user to an existing group that already has some users with access. 
However, after we save and go back into the group, the users that we added disappear from the group and did not save accordingly. 
We tried native users, LDAP users, and other groups. 
We are relatively sure this issue is not specific to LDAP users because Native users are not working properly either.
Oddly enough, after a random period of time (no pattern recognized yet) the users that we did add to the group show up randomly.
