Rman_error when backup database in online mode

RMAN-03002: failure of backup plus archivelog command at 03/10/2015 15:15:30

RMAN-06059: expected archived log not found, loss of archived log compromises recoverability

ORA-19625: error identifying file C:\WHOLEDATABASE\ARCH_D-ORCL_ID-1363066063_S-1124_T-1_A-835285327_LTPV9GNS

ORA-27041: unable to open file

OSD-04002: unable to open file

O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified

Hi, can anybody advice,..what is exactly meant above ?.  is the archive log expired ?  I got the error in symantec backup exec console..this console would link to RMAN for the command...

wondering how can get rid of above error ...
