Does ASCP follow the discrete job demand date to suggest supplies or does it follow the scheduled sh

we have a purchase order (due date: 31st March) pegged against a discrete job demand(completion date: 24th March) which in turn is derived from a sales order demand with scheduled ship date: 13th April.

There is no action suggested by ASCP to reschedule in the purchase order to meet the discrete job demand date.

Does ASCP follow the discrete job demand date or does it follow the sales order demand date since the discrete job demand arises from the sales order? If it follows discrete job demand date, it should be suggesting to reschedule in the due date on the Purchase Order.
