consolidation value of external source not allowed in aggregate storage model

Hi Gurus, I am trying to deploy ASO Cube using Essbase Studio. In Essbase model properties, i have Measures hierarchy with parent and child recursive join. At child i am defining consolidating property "attribute1" to be sourced from external table and getting this error: "Member Child with consolidation value of external source => attribute1 is not allowed in aggregate storage model". We have same hierarchy and settings in EIS and it is working no issue. If any of you have come across same error and aware of any work around or insight, appreciate it. Thanks,
