Single Sign On Solution

I am trying implement a SSO solution that would work in regards to this scenario -

When logging into your computer (using Active Directory) it will authenticate you and then be able to log you into EBS without having to enter your credentials again. A one time login scenario.

We have reached out to Oracle and other companies and they have stated the only way possible for this would be to use SAML 2.0. Due to our environment being out of date and having obsolete applications it has been a very difficult task to complete. The option that has been presented to us multiple times is to use a Dashboard of sorts, which is something we would like to avoid.
