Parent Kit item to be shipped with Child

Hi,

I am using JDE9.1 , I have kit item. When I ship confirm only child item dose it not automatically update parent item status to 580 Or invoicing.

I am doing ship confirm for child item.

What is the suggested method? So that all item will be at same status.
