Cost Object (EV04) in Flex Accounting (P40296)

Hi ,

I am using JDE 9.1 and setting the flexible accounts for DMAAI 3120.

I want to know the basis and  how to assign the cost object ?

While doing set up four cost type option are available (1,2,3,4). What are the criteria for this selection?

Further, as per attached screen shot i have selected cost type 1 and 2, will it have same effect if i select 3 and 4.


please help.
