Characterization of combination MCU / LOCN

There is a need for categorization in Branch Plant / Location combination.

For example, categorize the location if is in a COVERED or NON-COVERED place. A sample would be:

MCU	LOCATION	Characteristic
010081	MAIN	COVERED
020082	MAIN	NOT-COVERED
010081	QC	NOT-COVERED

I am aware that there are no general category codes available for this, so i am thinking of 2 solutions:

-A new F55 table that will hold these

-Use of supplemental data.

Is there a use of 46 subsystem (location profiles) ???
