Siebel migration from 8.1.1.10 to 8.1.1.14 (IP 2014).

Hello,

We would like you to ask some questions concerning a Siebel migration from 8.1.1.10 to 8.1.1.14 (IP 2014).

For the migration of the development environment we already did some steps:

Provided a new AIX-host for Siebel
Provided a new AIX-host for the oracle RDBMS
Downloaded the IP 2014 mediapack for AIX from an oracle site
installed Siebel 8.1.1.14 with Patch 4 on the new Siebel host without installing the old version 8.1.1.10 there before
installed the RDBMS, dumped the Siebel database on the old host and imported it on the new one
configured the Siebel gateway and enterprise

and now our questions

Is it OK, that we directly installed 8.1.1.14 and not 8.1.1.10 first and then 8.1.1.14 as an update ?
