ASM Fail diskGroups

Hi ,

I know that the ASM Fail-DiskGroups can protect the database against disks crash.

but my questions is, if I'm using ASM Disk group, with normal redundency , can that help against Block corruption ?

if a block is corrupted , (physically or logically ) in ASM Disk, does this block stay healthy on the Mirror side of this disk ?

if yes how to restore it ?

does the ASM do that automatically ?

if I identify an ASM Fail-Disk , can that protect against Block corruption ? also how to do a block recover from the block version in the fail-disk group ?

last thing !

if I identified at least one Fail-Diskgroup from the DiskGroup Data , Why do I need this DG to be Mirrored ?

Howdy, Stranger!
