Adop Command doesn't proceed further

After executing any of the adop command even adop -examples or adop -help no output is shown as shown below it remains like this. Kindly help me to resolve or troubleshoot this issue. I am upgrading from 12.2.0 to 12.2.4. I was trying to apply patch 17204589 but of no luck. it remains unresponsive as shown below. even the basic adop command not works help!!!!!!
