Upgrade RAC From 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.4 on AIX

Hi All,

I need to migrate and upgrade my prod database. Now, Our RAC DB 11.1.0.7 version on IBM AIX6.1 and we need to migrate DB to AIX 7.1 and Upgrade from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.4.

Now I have installed 2 Node RAC Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.4 version and 11.1.0.7 DB Software and I have Restored DB from backup. After Recovering and opening DB with resetlogs option, I will upgrade using DBUA tool. Can anyone explain me this upgrade path is true or optimum method for upgrading ?

I am waiting best practices for Upgrading from all.
