Host Monitoring -> CPU Details How are the Top 10 processes determined
Looking at a couple of different boxes being monitored by 12.1.0.2 Cloud Control I see two different things:
1. Windows box running Oracle 11.1.0.7
The Average CPU runs between 40%-60% - when you log onto the box the Task Manager confirms these values - this seems OK.
The Top 10 Processes lists oracle.exe twice (there are two databases running). Each of the oracle.exe processes says that it is using 100% CPU. Task manager shows each process using 15-40% CPU
2. Linux box running Oracle 11.2.0.4
The average CPU runs betwen 20-25%. Top confirms this value.
The Top 10 processes are all owned by root:
