Performance degraded after upgrade from 12.0.6 to 12.2.4

We are under the process of upgradtion to 12.2.4 from 12.0.6, but with NAR report we found that even test enviornment after upgrade is consuimg more IO's and performance is degraded for other test & production instances which are using same storage.
