Why are assets depreciating when flag is set to 'NO'

we are trying to correct our ACE tax book in the first period--we accidently loaded assets that should not depreciate and should have no YTD depreciation and no DEPRN_RESERVE;

we have uploaded these assets many time but they continue to depreciate even though the flag is set not to do so and the ytd and accum depr are set to zero

why would this happen?
