11i - Transaction Type = ‘Int Order Intr ship’ and Transaction Action= ‘Intransit shipment’ in MMTT

We have an issue for few internal sales orders.

Issue Description

1. Internal Sales orders has 5 lines.  Out of which 4 lines are successfully closed.  The one line does has total 20 quantity of item X.  Only 12 are shipped.  So, the status is partially picked.  This is internal sales order and PO is created.

Standard Oracle functionality is  that when it is picked partial, Oracle splits the line into two.   For e.g. Line #2.1 will be split into 2.1.1.  For remaining 8 quantity in above case.

That is not happening for these orders.  The lines are not split and only one line with 12 quantity(as in above example) remains open with partially picked.
