Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. BI Publisher (MOSC)

For one of our BI publisher excel templates we get "Excel found unreadable content in 'XXXXXX.EXCEL'

We have created a custom bi publisher template that we apply to an Oracle EBS Concurrent request.

Up to a certain size the excel output opens fine with the correct formatting but for a slightly larger file the excel output opens with:

"Excel found unreadable content in 'XXXXXX.EXCEL'. Do you want to recover the contents of the workbook?"

If we click Yes, the excel spreadsheet opens BUT all formatting is lost.

There are no warning messages in the OPP.log which is the same for both.

Also, we ran them both with debug turned on via 364547.1 (3.2) but no useful information is contained in bdo.log.
