Should we expect that the Oracle delivered deployment procedure 'Provision Oracle Database' would d
Question: Should we expect that the Oracle delivered deployment procedure 'Provision Oracle Database' would do all pre-req checks for us for a new oracle home install on Solaris 11? We have not opened an SR for this yet as we are wondering if our expectation is incorrect.
EM version: 12.1.0.4
o/s: Solaris 11, 64bit
Scenario:
We attempted to use Oracle delivered deployment procedure 'Provision Oracle Database' (version 14.0, last updated Jan 22, 2015 by Oracle) to install a fresh 12.1.0.2.0 oracle home using the install media we uploaded to our software library.
We did not manually do any of the pre-requisite checks as we expected that the deployment procedure would do that for us.
