Addnode/cluvfy fails as it looks for oifcfg in database home and not GI home
Oracle Linux 5.4 running Oracle 11.2.0.2 GI and RAC.
Need to add a new node to the cluster (actually an old node that was removed, used as a LDAP server, and now needs to be added back to the RAC again). Everything h/w and o/s wise are fine on the node to add - shared storage, Interconnect, etc.
However cluvfy (and addnode) fails to verify the node. Error - unable to find the oifcfg executable on the existing RAC node from which the verification is done. The reason - trace output shows the cluvfy process reading the ./oraInventory/ContentsXML/inventory.xml
