Model Detail Name doesn't match the Base Inventory Item Details

Hello,  I have a strange mismatch going on.  For some of the models in my configuration the information in the Base Inventory Item Details section  (general details tab) shows a different item than the model. These models are all imported from the item master and boms so should be same. I'm Importing from a remote server and having some issues, during which I discovered this.  When I try to import/refresh the upper level model that uses these models I get an error that it can't find the model

Error on refresh: "Imported referenced model is different than the one that is enabled in model id 466181 for Model- OPTIONAL:4:492768 Current ModelId=466187 Expecting ModelId=522141"
