Rejecting request since max request parameter limit exceeded 10000

Hi,

I am continuously getting this error in our managed server logs while application throws a error 500 as a result.I know there is patch for this but that would require a downtime.So i would like to know if there is a workaround like changing the application's web.xml or any configuration changes in weblogic.
